My hackintosh is spitting out a bunch of plus symbols with clover.
Well I got to the apple logo but it hangs and in verbose it loads kexts then black screen
Hey @XDHakzz ,
What's the motherboard you're using?
It's a dell 17 7000
Not sure if that helps
What happens if you boot in Safe Mode? In Clover, hover over the boot device and press the space bar. In that menu, find the option for Safe Mode or Safe Boot and tick it. Then, go to the top and press "Boot with selected options".
Ok, then put your flash drive back into the computer that you made it on, and install Clover again. This time, instead of checking OsxAptioFixDrv2, check OsxAptioFixDrv instead.
I actually don't have access to the computer right now because it's a relatives but I will take all the help I can get until I can access it again and hopefully hackintosh it for them
Something to keep in mind is that the WiFi chipset will most likely not work, and you'll have to get a different one. The trackpad, keyboard, sound may not even work.
I tried al of those options (the 2) but the same thing happens
Oh and i don't think I mentioned it but when I got the list of kexts and then a black screen I used chameleon
Yeah I already heard about that
Better than nothing though
I've also tried unibeast on sierra and el captain
Also Yosemite zone
Yosemite zone on USB with ISO just boots chameleon that's it
Don't use anything like that. It's modified and most likely full of malicious things. Download the legal macOS download from the Mac App Store, then use either my tutorial or Unibeast in order to create an installer.
Ok I had no clue I thought the only difference was the boot logo
I didn't even know it was illegal I thought since the App Store version was free the ISO was too
According to Apple's terms of service (and a bunch of other people's TOS's), only Apple can distribute Apple's downloads. Anyone else is violating Apple's copyrights.
Just download it from the Mac App Store, given it's legit and also legal.
