Hi there, sorry I haven't replied sooner, I have been trying several things to get it working. I found a post on here where you advised someone how to configure their BIOS settings for a ASUS V3 Ranger, so just out of the blue I thought Id try the same settings and it sort of worked.
The reason I was getting a Kernel Panic was because of a faulty config.plist. So I downloaded an altered one from a forum post here, and it worked. For my spec, just in case anyone else has the same issues;
ASUS Maximus V2 Ranger
Intel Core i7 4790K (Devil's Canyon)
32GB DDR3 HyperX Fury RAM
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW Edition w/ 8GB RAM
Samsung 256 850 Pro SSD
I can post the .plist that I used, if anyone else runs into the same problem. I haven't been able to test the system fully, but I was able to install the latest NVidia Web Drivers for Pascal chips and it seems to recognise my 1080 fully with no graphics issues.
I initially installed Hackint0sh for Xcode, but again I haven't tested it so I don't know how it would perform under a heavy workload.
I do have a PCI WiFi card, which worked out of the box, no additional drivers required which was great!
