Ok, I've removed FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext and it doesn't change anything.
Removed BrcmFirmwareData.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext as well, no change.
Maybe I have to remove this nvram.plist ane DSDT
I followed the How To at
I would try replacing your config.plist file with this one and see if it works better. I would also make a backup of that config.plist file onto your desktop or onto a flash drive w/ Clover on it (just in case mine doesn't work).
I wanted to say, that all is working now.
I had to clean up and deleted all kexts at /Library/Extenstions/ (over 20 kexts)...
Uhh, does you system even boot? You're not supposed to do that.... lol
You can just rerun the macOS installer and it'll just reinstall system files (like those kexts). Just install (or "reinstall"), but do not format your drive in Disk Utility.
Yes, it boots and it's working, lol
OH! My mistake! I thought you deleted everything in /System/Library/Extensions/
I wonder what kext was causing that weird graphics glitch... Glad it's working now!
Update: the weird icons are back, but ONLY in Safari... Reinstalled already, no success
What about Chrome? Try doing some WebGL tests in both Safari and Chrome and let me know what happens.
It's only in Safari:
When I try to open a file in Safari (e.g. this image upload in the forum) the icons look like this:
Let's try this. First, completely close out of Safari.
Then, in Finder, try going to the directory "~/Library/Caches/" and delete the folder "com.apple.Safari". Restart your computer, then try opening Safari and see what happens.
Unfortunately nothing. :/
Is this with or w/o the Web Drivers?
With the NVIDIA Web Drivers.
I'll have to figure out what directories for you to clear out tomorrow. I'm thinking this has something to do w/ caches (hence why I told you to delete that folder).
Sorry, haven't had the time to go look for the directories. All I can say is use Chrome instead of Safari for the time being. I can hopefully look tomorrow for those directories.
Hey, I decided to fully reinstall Mac OS X Sierra. But: Idk why, I can't enable the web drivers... I've checked NvidiaWeb under System parameters, checked with Nvidia Web in Clover at startup manually, disabled Inject Nvidia, didn't help...
Do you have any messenger to chat? Discord maybe?
